Counting the Blessings of 2011

Guest post by Julia Osovskaya
End of year is a fantastic time to count your blessings, and this is exactly the thing I’ve been doing lately. Reflecting back on 2011 these last couples of days made me realize I had no idea how great my year really was. I thought I knew, but I so overlooked some of the things… How could I?
For instance, I understood that I got to meet not one, not two, but EIGHT wonderful people who are still present in my life at the dawn of 2011. This year has also been a year of opportunities and I am thankful to have had a chance to work on great projects and collaborate with great companies and people (Thankfulfor included!), not to mention all the opportunities to try new incredible things and enough of travel that allowed me to see so many of the good friends abroad.
Looking back on the passing year’s blessings has once again made me realize the importance of appreciating what you have. Law of attraction is so real - the more you thank, the more you’re given. I wouldn’t describe the rule to live by any better than Julio Olalla already did in the deeply meaningful short documentary Amo la Vida shot by Nic Askew (watch it here):
“… No matter what I do, I don’t live like I deserve this, I live like I thank life for this.”
How has your 2011 been?
